Washington Gas has a well regarded Supplier Diversity program which has been expanding since its inception more than 30 years ago. It is our corporate policy to support diverse and protected class businesses.

In 2007 and 2008, Washington Gas was named as one of the 40 Best Companies for Diversity in Black Enterprise magazine. Our efforts resulted in significant increases in total system procurement from minority and protected class businesses, and we will continue our efforts to foster supplier diversity in all aspects of our operations.
